Policy

Refund Policy

Refund terms for Pratham International visa consultancy services.

1. Scope of this Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to payments made to Pratham International for visa consultancy-related services offered through our website and associated channels.

It covers service categories including (without limitation) student visa consultancy, spouse visa consultancy, visitor visa consultancy, and related advisory support.

2. General no-refund principle

Consultancy fees are generally charged for professional time, guidance, documentation support, and process management. Therefore, once a service is initiated or resources are allocated, fees are typically non-refundable.

This no-refund principle applies even if visa outcomes are delayed, refused, or affected by third-party decisions (such as embassy/consulate determinations), unless otherwise stated in a written service agreement.

3. Cases where refund may be considered

A refund may be considered in limited cases, such as:

  • duplicate payment made by mistake for the same service by the same client;
  • payment collected but service not started due to a confirmed internal inability from Pratham International side (excluding force majeure and reasonable rescheduling);
  • any other case where written approval is issued by authorised management as an exception.

4. Non-refundable circumstances

Refunds are generally not available in the following circumstances:

  • change of mind after payment;
  • incomplete or incorrect documents provided by the client;
  • non-cooperation, non-response, or failure to attend scheduled sessions by the client;
  • visa rejection/refusal by embassy, consulate, or immigration authority;
  • delays caused by government processing timelines or third-party agencies.

5. Batch/session rescheduling and force majeure

If workshops, sessions, or guidance batches are rescheduled due to operational reasons (including staff unavailability, low enrollment, or system constraints), we may provide a revised schedule or equivalent support.

Events beyond reasonable control (for example natural disasters, public emergency, government restrictions, platform outages, strikes, or similar force majeure events) may affect delivery timelines. Such events do not automatically create refund liability.

6. Duplicate payment refund timeline

Approved duplicate-payment refunds are processed through the original payment method.

Standard processing timeline is 10 to 7 working days from successful verification and approval. Actual credit time may vary depending on bank/payment gateway.

7. How to request a refund

To raise a refund request, contact us through our Contact page with the following:

  • full name and registered phone/email;
  • payment date, amount, and transaction reference;
  • service type (student/spouse/visitor/other visa assistance);
  • reason for refund request and supporting evidence.

8. Decision and communication

All refund requests are reviewed case-by-case in line with this policy, internal records, and any signed service agreement. The company decision after review will be communicated through registered contact details.

10. Policy updates

We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page and become effective from the date of publication unless stated otherwise.
